This document now features five parts for organizing the content.
There is a new section, “Overview” (page 13)
This document now references iLO-based management processors to accommodate the
new iLO3 MP.
The Insight Control for Linux repository now recognizes ISO images as an item type;
there is a new procedure for registering an ISO image in the repository.
New sections in chapter“Installing and setting up virtual machines” (page 125) were
added for installing and configuring KVM virtual machine hosts and guests.
Furthermore, a new section on virtual guest operations was added at the end of this
chapter.
A new chapter, “ISO control operations” (page 147), was added.
There is a new section, “Logging RAM disk connections and operations” (page 216) in
the Advanced topics chapter.

There are two distinct tasks for deploying custom operating systems, DeployOperating
SystemCustom or Other Interactive and DeployOperating SystemCustom
or Other (Unattended). They replace the previous DeployOperating
SystemCustom or Other task.
Likewise, the procedures for deploying a custom OS have changed. For information on
deploying a custom OS, see the white paper titled Installing a Custom Operating System
with HP Insight Control for Linux.
The download web addresses in the table in Additional prerequisites for certain
ProLiant servers” (page 98) were updated.
The section on Partition wizard requirements and guidelines was expanded.
