The prerequisites list on the screen includes server, services, database, and application requirements.
To ensure that the hardware and software configurations on the target server meet the requirements
for the products you want to install, run the Insight Management Advisor.

Running Insight Management Advisor again to verify prerequisites for selected products
After you select the products to install, HP recommends that you run the Insight Management Advisor
to determine if your system has any requirement issues.
IMPORTANT: Do not change the CMS IP address.
1. Click Run the HP Insight Management Advisor link located at the bottom of the Check for
prerequisites screen.
2. After running the Insight Management Advisor, resolve any issues the Insight Management
Advisor finds.
If no issues are found, click Next on the Check for prerequisites screen.
Step 7: Selecting the installation directory
HP Insight Management can only be installed on drives with an 8dot3 filename enabled in
Windows. The 8dot3 filename is enabled on the default drive, which is the C:drive. If you choose
a non-default drive, then use the fsutil command, to check and enable the 8dot3 filename.
For example, before installing Insight Management software on V:drive on a Windows 2012
system, execute the command fsutil 8dot3name set V:0 to enable 8dot3 filename.
The Installation Directory screen enables you to select the installation location for Insight
Management. Selecting a non-default location for the installation files does not have an impact on
