HP Insight Management 7.2 Update 2 Support Matrix

SPM adapter for EMC Symmetrix VMAX will be installed on the system. By default, the HP SPM
adapter for EMC Symmetrix VMAX is disabled. For more information on enabling the HP SPM

Storage support for Matrix recovery management
Use of Matrix recovery management requires any of the following plus replication software:
• HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage
• HP P6000 EVA Storage System
• HP P9000 XP Storage System
Matrix recovery management replicates data between the primary and recovery sites using HP
3PAR Remote Copy replication software, HP P6000 Continuous Access Software, or HP 9000
Continuous Access Software. Each site requires its own instance of HP P6000 Command View
Software to manage the HP P6000 EVA arrays or HP P9000 XP Storage Systems storage
management station to manage HP P9000 arrays associated with that site.
Matrix recovery management supports HP 3PAR StoreServ with Remote Copy synchronous and
asynchronous replication as follows:
• CLX/3PAR (v2.0 or later) and 3PAR OS CLI must be installed on CMS.
• Matrix recovery management supports any HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage and 3PAR OS supported
by CLX/3PAR
Matrix recovery management supports HP P9000 XP Storage System arrays with Continuous Access
Synchronous and Asynchronous Replication as follows:
• CLX/XP (v3.0.1 or later) must be installed on storage management station running either
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or Microsoft Windows Server 2008
• Matrix recovery management supports any XP array that is supported by CLX/XP
