• HP Matrix KVM Private Cloud, enables the provisioning of virtual machine instances on KVM
(Linux kernel-based virtual machine) hosts in a virtual data center (a cloud) using Matrix
infrastructure orchestration templates and self-service portal processes. It is available as a
separate download on the SWDepot page along with Insight Management products.
Japanese language support
Information about Japanese support for Insight Management is located at the following website:

Displaying Installer screens in Japanese and Simplified Chinese locales
Insight Management Installer screens do not get displayed appropriately in Japanese and Simplified
Chinese locales, when using Internet Explorer 11.
To resolve this issue, certain settings must be changed in Internet Explorer 11. For more information
about changing the settings, see the HP Insight Management 7.3 Installation and Configuration
Guide, located at http://www.hp.com/go/insightmanagement/docs.
New and changed features
The following sections describe changes that have been introduced to the HP Insight Management
Advisor and the Insight Management installation and upgrade process since the last release.
HP Insight Management Advisor
HP Insight Management Advisor for the 7.3 release includes product enhancements. The following
are the changes applicable for the HP Insight Management 7.3 release:
• Supports Internet Explorer 11
• Supports Simplified Chinese locale
• Supports IPv6 address
• Supports the following new operating system:
Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard and Datacenter editions◦
• Removal of all Insight Control server deployment associated checks
• Removal of DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) test and HP Operations Orchestration
Upgrade check
• Removal of the following database support:
SQL 2012 x86_x64 (Standard, Enterprise, Business Intelligence)◦
◦ SQL 2008 R2 SP2 x64 Express
◦ SQL 2008 R2 SP1 x64, x86 (Express, Standard, Enterprise)
