Installing and upgrading HP Insight Management 7.3 on Windows Server 2012 Failover Clusters

A. Select the HP Extensible Storage & Server Adapter service.
B. The Confirmation screen shows Service: Extensible Storage & Server Adapter (osa).
2. Add the following dependencies to the new resource’s properties: HP SIM Disk and HP SIM Network Name.
Creating the generic service resource: HP Storage Provisioning Manager Service
1. Use the New Resource Wizard to create a generic service:
A. Select the HP Storage Provisioning Manager Service.
B. The Confirmation screen shows Service: HP Storage Provisioning Manager Service (hpspm).
2. Add the following dependencies to the new resource’s properties: HP SIM Disk and HP SIM Network Name.
3. On the Policies tab, set the “Pending timeout” value to 5:00.
4. On the Policies tab, set the “Maximum restarts in the specified period” value to 2.
Creating the generic service resource: HP Logical Server Automation
1. Use the New Resource Wizard to create a generic service:
A. Select the HP Logical Server Automation service.
B. The Confirmation screen shows Service: HP Logical Server Automation (HP Logical Server Automation).
2. Add the following dependencies to the new resource’s properties: HP Extensible Storage & Server Adapter, HP Global
Workload Manager Central Management Server, HP Insight Control virtual machine management, and HP Storage
Provisioning Manager Service.
3. On the Policies tab, set the “Pending timeout” value to 20:00.
4. On the Policies tab, set the “Maximum restarts in the specified period” value to 0.
Creating the resource for HP Matrix infrastructure orchestration
If HP Matrix infrastructure orchestration was installed, create the following cluster resources.
Creating the generic service resource: RSJRAS
1. Use the New Resource Wizard to create a generic service:
A. Select the RSJRAS service.
B. The Confirmation screen shows Service: RSJRAS (RSJRAS).
2. Add the following dependency to the new resource’s properties: HP SIM Disk and HP SIM Network Name.
Creating the generic service resource: RSCentral
1. Use the New Resource Wizard to create a generic service:
A. Select the RSCentral service.
B. The Confirmation screen shows Service: RSCentral (RSCentral).
2. Add the following dependency to the new resource’s properties: RSJRAS.
Creating the generic service resource: HP Matrix infrastructure orchestration
1. Use the New Resource Wizard to create a generic service:
A. Select the HP Matrix infrastructure orchestration service.
B. The Confirmation screen shows Service: HP Matrix Infrastructure Orchestration (hpio).
2. Add the following dependencies to the new resource’s properties: HP Logical Server Automation, and RSCentral.
Creating the generic service resource: HP Matrix infrastructure chargeback
1. Use the New Resource Wizard to create a generic service:
A. Select the HP Matrix infrastructure chargeback service.
B. The Confirmation screen shows Service: HP Matrix infrastructure chargeback (chargeback).
2. Add the following dependency to the new resource’s properties: HP Matrix infrastructure orchestration.
Creating the generic service resource: HP Matrix infrastructure bursting connecter (optional)
This Windows service is installed with HP Matrix infrastructure orchestration installation. This service is optional unless it is
required to be set up in the environment as a cluster resource. After the installation, the resource service stays in a disabled
state and should be enabled prior to adding as a cluster resource.
1. Enable Matrix for cloud connecter in hpio.conf:
A. Edit the following property in ~\Matrix infrastructure
orchestration\conf\hpio.properties:
matrix.cloud.connecter.enabled=true
2. Enable the HP Matrix infrastructure bursting connecter service on each node:
