Integrity jobs
The following sections describe the standard jobs included in the RDP Integrity Integration
Module (IIM) and include information about customizing the jobs. The jobs are grouped by
functionality.
Read HW Configuration jobs (group 1)
The Read HW Configuration jobs group includes:
• Read Integrity RX/BL Array Configuration {LinuxPE}
• Read Integrity RX/BL HBA Configuration [server specific] {LinuxPE}
• Read Integrity RX/BL System Configuration {LinuxPE}
• Read Integrity RX/BL Hardware Configuration [server-specific] {LinuxPE}
The Read HW Configuration jobs are meant to capture general hardware configurations. These
jobs are composed of one or more LinuxPE tasks. These jobs can be used with Integrity mid-range
and high-end systems in addition to ACPI configuration-specific jobs, or they can be customized
to support ACPI configuration by themselves. See “Method A: Using the Set ACPI Mode jobs”
(page 18), and “Method B: Customizing with the Set ACPI tasks” (page 20).
Read Image jobs (group 2)
The Read Image jobs group includes:
• Capture Windows 2003 IA64 Sysprep Image {LinuxPE}
• Read Integrity RX/BL System and Array Configuration and Linux Image {LinuxPE}
The Read Image job reboots are usually triggered by the Create Disk Image tasks, and require
specific customizations. See “Read Image jobs (group 2)” (page 23).
Windows Scripted/Imaged Install jobs (group 3)
The Windows Scripted/Imaged Install jobs group includes:
• Deploy Integrity RX/BL + Windows 2003 IA64 Enterprise + ISP {LinuxPE}
• Deploy Windows 2003 IA64 Enterprise (Integrity RX/BL) {LinuxPE}
• Deploy Windows 2003 IA64 Sysprep Image {LinuxPE}
• Write Integrity RX/BL System and Array Configuration and Linux Image {LinuxPE}
These jobs are typically applied to bare-metal systems (“Bare-metal target systems” (page 25)),
and the only customization required is to set the ACPI Configuration Mode to Windows.
