Write/Erase HW Configuration jobs (group 4)
The Write/Erase HW Configuration jobs group includes:
• Deploy Integrity BL860c SAS Array Configuration (RAID 0) {LinuxPE}
• Deploy Integrity BL860c SAS Array Configuration (RAID 1) {LinuxPE}
• Deploy Integrity RX/BL Array Configuration (default) {LinuxPE}
• Erase Integrity RX/BL Array Configuration {LinuxPE}
• Write Integrity RX/BL Array Configuration {LinuxPE}
• Write Integrity RX/BL HBA Configuration [server specific] {LinuxPE}
• Deploy Integrity RX/BL System Configuration (default) {LinuxPE}
• Erase Integrity RX/BL System Configuration {LinuxPE}
• Write Integrity RX/BL System Configuration {LinuxPE}
These jobs are typically used in conjunction with Windows Scripted/Imaged Install jobs in
bare-metal systems and do not require customization. For information, see “Write/Erase HW
Configuration jobs (group 4)” (page 29).
Post-Operating System Installation jobs (group 5)
The Post-Operating System Installation jobs group includes the Install Windows 2003 IA64
Integrity Support Pack (latest) job.
Although this job does not require customization, it is crucial to the context of this document
because it installs the HpSetAcpi utility for Windows. You must run the Install Windows 2003
IA64 Integrity Support Pack (latest) job before executing any job that runs in a Windows
production environment.
Customization prerequisites
The customizations described in this document require:
• RDP 3.7 or later
• HP ISP 5.2 or later
• Target systems in one of the following initial states:
— Bare-metal system
— Production system running with Windows Server 2003 SP1 or SP2, Enterprise Edition
for IA64 or Windows Server 2003 SP2, DataCenter Edition for IA64
• System firmware 6.44 for Integrity mid-range and high-end systems based on the sx1000
chipset or 7.44 for mid-range and high-end systems based on the sx2000 chipset

• The customized jobs are backward-compatible on the non-mid-range and high-end platforms.
The jobs work with Integrity entry-class target systems, such as the HP Integrity rx3600
server.
• Any customized job that includes the Set ACPI to Linux task must be run only on a
powered-on system (mid-range or high-end) running a tested Windows Server 2003 IA64
operating system with HP ISP 5.2 or later. The latest HP ISP can be installed by running the
