6. Click Open to start the export process. The Export Progress dialog box is displayed.
Or click Save to save the le, double-click the le in Windows Explorer to open it, and continue
with this procedure.
NOTE:
The Export Process dialog b ox will only appear when Outlook plug-i n is installed. (If the
Outlook plug-in is not installed, the XML le can be opened by XML editors.)

7. If you are exporting the results directly to Outlook, in the D efault PST Folder eld, enter the nam e of
the Outloo k folder where you want to save the result. The default folder name is Default.Any
messages you previously exported to the Default folder a re deleted unless you create a new
folder. New PST folders are created automatically.
8. If you are exporting the results to an external location, complete all of the following:
Select the Save to External Location check box.
Specif y where you want to save the results by entering a path in the Folder eld or clicking
Browse to select a location.
•InthePrex eld, enter the name of the PST le that will be generated when you export
the results.
If the lesizeexceeds1.7GB,thePSTle is automatically divided into more than one le
and numbered sequentially (for example, XYZ_001.pst, XYZ_002.pst, and so forth).
Outlook 2000: If the results contain more than 16,0 00 messages, a new PST le will be
created even if the 1.7 GB size limitation has not been reached yet. Outlook 2002 or 2003:
The maximum number of messages is 64,000.
9. To begin the export process, click Download.ClickingClose will quit the export process.
