Searching for archived email messages
To search for archived documents, use the RISS Web Interface. You can
create a link in the Lotus Notes navigation pane that takes you directly to the
RISS Web Interface when clicked. For more information about using the RISS
Web Interface, see Chapter 2,

To set up a link that directs you to the RISS Web Interface:
1. Open Lotus Domino Designer.
2. On the
Design
pane, click
Resources
(Lotus Notes 5.x) or
Shared Resources
(Lotus Notes 6.x), and then click
Images
.
3. Click
New Image Resource
.
4. In the
Open
dialog box, select a graphic to use as an icon on the link.
Click
Open
.
5. On the
Design
pane, click
Outlines
(Lotus Notes 5.x), or click
Shared Code
and then
Outlines
(Lotus Notes 6.x).
6. Open
NotesMailOutline
.
7. Click
New Entry
.
8. In the
Label
field, enter a name for the link.
9. From the
Type
list, choose
URL
.
10. In the
Value
field, enter the URL or IP address of your RISS Web
Interface.
11. Click the
Folder
button in the Image area. The
Insert Image Resource
dialog
box is displayed.
12. Select the image you selected earlier and click
OK
.
13. Press
Esc
to exit out of Domino Designer and click
Yes
when prompted to
save changes.
14. When you access Lotus Notes, a link to the RISS Web Interface is
displayed in the navigation pane. Click the link to display the RISS Web
Interface.
