HP Global Workload Manager
HP Global Workload Manager (gWLM) functions in an online migration environment much as it
functions in an HP Serviceguard environment. It notes when workloads are running within any given
host, and applies the user selected policies to those workloads. If a workload is not currently running
on a particular host, gWLM allocates that workload’s resource to those workloads that are running.
gWLM’s capabilities are unaffected by the presence of migrate-able virtual machines. See

considerations for working in a gWLM environment for more information.

HP Capacity Advisor
The vmmgr GUI, when started from HP Insight Dynamics – VSE, provides integration with the HP
Capacity Advisor product. The Utilization Meters on the vmmgr GUI pages become hyperlinks. When
a user clicks on the meter, he is taken to the Capacity Advisor Page that details the history of
utilization for the selected resource.
