Command-line options for vPar memory conguration
The following table shows the options for vpar and hpvm commands.
Command Option Description
hpvmcreate -a m e m ::<amount> -x vm _ type=vpar
Amount of memory added as base memory for the
new vPar.
-a m e m ::<amount>:b -x vm _ type=vpar
Amount of memory added as base memory for the
new vPar.
-a m e m ::<amount>:f -x v m _ type=vpar
Amount of memory added as oating memory for
the new vPar.
vparcreate -a m e m ::<amount>
Amount of memory added as base memory.
-a m e m ::<amount>:b
-a m e m ::<amount>:f
Amount of memory added as oating memory.
hpvmmodify -a m e m ::<amount>
-a m e m ::<amount>:b
Increment the base memory by the specied amount
to the given vPar.

Decrement the base memory by the specied
amount to the given vPar.
