Description of Cable(s) Where to Connect
Component One cable with three ends:
One red for Pr signal
One green for Y signal
One blue for Pb signal
Some component cables come with red
and white audio cables attached.
Insert the red cable into the red
YPbPr1 or YPbPr2 video input.
Insert the green cable into the green
YPbPr1 or YPbPr2 video input.
Insert the blue cable into the blue
YPbPr1 or YPbPr2 video input.
Insert the red and white audio cables
into the red and white YPbPr1 or
YPbPr2 audio inputs.
DVI-D One cable with 3 rows of 8 pins. Insert the cable into the DVI video input.
DVI-D is analog only. Does not support
digital signal.
VGA One cable with 3 rows of 5 pins. Insert the cable into the VGA video
input.
Connecting a Composite Component
In the Audio Inputs section, insert the red and white audio cables into the AV1/SV1 connectors. In
the Video Inputs section, insert the yellow video cable into the top AV1/SV 1 connector.
To add an additional composite component, use the AV2/SV2 connectors for audio and the top
AV2/SV2 connector for video.
Connecting a S-video Component
In the Audio Inputs section, insert the red and white audio cables into the AV1/SV1 connectors. In
the Video Inputs section, insert the S-video cable into the bottom AV1/S V1 connector.
To add an additional S-video component, use the AV2/SV2 connectors for audio and the bottom
AV2/SV2 connector for video.
Connecting a YPbPr Component
In the Audio Inputs section, insert the red and white audio cables into the YPbPr1 connectors. In the
Video Inputs section, insert the red, blue and green video cables into the top YPbPr1/YPbPr2
connectors.
To add an additional YPbPr component, use the YPbPr2 connector for audio and the bottom
YPbPr1/YPbPr2 connectors for video.
Connecting a PC with a DVI Cable
In the Audio Inputs section, insert the audio cables from your PC (color of cable tips vary) into the DVI
connector. In the Video Inputs section, insert the DVI cable into the DVI connector.
Connecting a PC with a VGA Cable
In the Audio Inputs section, insert the audio cable from your PC (color of cable tip varies) into the
VGA connector. In the Video Inputs section, insert the VGA cable into the VGA connector.
