Managing Serviceguard Extension for SAP on Integrity Linux, December 2005

Step by Step Installation of SGeSAP on Integrity Linux for SAP WAS Central Instances
Cluster Configuration
Chapter 2 79
IS880 Installation Step:
The verification of the base setup should be done in SGeSAP/LX IPF
debug-mode. Create a file called ${SGCONF}/<SID>/debug on all nodes
in the cluster. This enables you to start the Serviceguard packages
without running the SGeSAP/LX IPF specific steps.
Reboot all cluster hosts.
Start the cluster and run all packages. This might be done automatically.
If everything is working correctly, the log-file(s) in ${SGCONF}/<SID> will
indicate successful package startup, but the database and SAP are not
running.
On the primary host(s) it should be possible to run the database and the
Central Instance. Be sure to start the listener as ora<sid> before trying
to bring up an ORACLE database. Make sure to start the vserver before
trying to bring up a SAPDB database. Stop the Central Instance and the
database. Stop the listener if needed. Do not stop the packages yet.
