Whether or not the user information for the Fibre Channel switch that attempts to connect is
registered on the port
Table 19 shows the relationship between combinations of port settings and connection results in
authentication of Fibre Channel switches. Regardless of whether or not the host is congured for
authentication by Fibre Channel switches with CHAP, the connection results are as follows, unless
otherwise noted.
