Using the Matrix KVM cloud configuration dialog
You can use the cloud configuration dialog in HP Matrix Operating Environment infrastructure orchestration to configure the KVM
private cloud pools.
Note: You must first modify the hpio.properties file before completing these steps. To do so, set the following properties:
cloud.capacity=true
cloud.capacity.adapters=nova
1. Launch the Matrix infrastructure orchestration console at https://<cms-ip-address>:50000.
2. Select ToolsInfrastructure orchestration.
3. From the Links section on the Matrix infrastructure orchestration console Home tab, click the Configure KVM cloud pool link

orchestration. With the specified information, the dialog performs the following configuration tasks:
o Defines a cloud capacity pool by creating or adding an entry to conf/cloud/nova-cloud-pools.xml.
o Configures the cloud capacity pool properties file conf/cloud/<pool-ID>.properties.
o Creates an image filter file conf/cloud/<pool-ID>-image-filters.xml that passes all active images.
