Egress ports

If a firewall is used between the Matrix system and a cloud provider, egress traffic must be allowed on these ports:

• Matrix-to-Matrix: the port specified in the API endpoint (usually 8774)

• HP Matrix KVM Private Cloud: 443

• HP Cloud Services: 35357 and 443.

• Amazon EC2: 80 or 443, depending on whether an HTTP or HTTPS API endpoint is used.

You will also need to open egress ports to connect to your provisioned instances using the protocol of your choice; for example,
