IMPORTANT: HP Insight Control server provisioning is the provisioning tool which replaces HP
Insight Control server deployment. For more information about Insight Control server provisioning,
see the HP Insight Control Server Provisioning 7.2 Update 2 Installation Guide. The information
about Insight Control server deployment is retained here for the convenience of legacy users who
have not yet migrated to HP Insight Control server provisioning.
Open source code
Insight Management 7.2 Update 2 DVD contains open source for the following components:
• HP Insight Control server migration: \open source\ ICmigr
• HP Virtual Connect Enterprise Manager: \open source\vcem
The open source code used by Insight Management components (license types include GPL and
LGP) is shipped on the Insight Management distribution media in a zipped format or available on
the HP website. Table 2 (page 8) lists the software components and the corresponding location
of the Open Source code on the HP website.Table 3 lists the software components and the
corresponding location of the Open Source code on the DVDs.
