Action
• Verify that the Virtual Center credentials are correct on Systems Insight Manager.
• Verify that the virtual machine hosts are correctly registered to Insight Control virtual machine management
usage and are not reporting issues on Systems Insight Manager
• Verify that HP Insight Dynamics is correctly displaying the resources (physical or virtual.)
• Verify that you have added the Onboard Administrator credentials to enclosure node on Systems Insight
Manager
Fix any communication issues and then wait for the next synchronization cycle. The resources should display
correctly in the Insight Orchestration Unassigned Pool.
Designer error dialog message:
A fatal error occurred while initializing the Designer.
Issue
The error that was returned was: ERROR (code = -1, Key = null):
Server.Error.Request Details: null
Please make sure the Insight Orchestration service is running and try again.
Occurs when launching Designer from Console (using the Template tab Edit buttons).Possible cause
To workaround this issue, launch Designer using a browser at https://<cms>:51443/hpio/designer and open
the desired template.

With IE6, launching Designer from Insight Orchestration console can cause sporadic Designer interface failures.
Insight Orchestration console in Systems Insight Manager displays the following message: “The HP Insight
Orchestration tool cannot be displayed.”
Issue
—Possible cause
To workaround this issue, in Systems Insight Manager select Tools→Insight Orchestration. The Insight
Orchestration console will return to its normal display.
Action
Insight Orchestration console in Systems Insight Manager displays the following message: The HP Insight
Orchestration tool cannot be displayed and the error dialog displays: User not authenticated.
Issue
Signing out of the Designer after launching Designer from the Insight Orchestration console (using the Template
tab New or Edit buttons).
Possible cause
To workaround this issue, in Designer, instead of clicking Sign Out, either close the IE7 browser (using the
close (X) button in the upper right) or close the IE7 browser tab (using the close (X) button at the right end of the
Designer's tab.
