HP Matrix Operating Environment 7.3 Update 1 Release Notes

The browser requires a method to accept self-signed certificate to access IO
By default, IO is configured to use self-signed certificate, which may result in your
browser displaying one of the following errors:
Chrome displays:
The site's security certificate is not trusted! or a blank page
with the icon .
Internet Explorer 11 displays:
There is a problem with this websites security certificate
or Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid
security certificate.
Firefox 17 displays:
This Connection is Untrusted.
Suggested action
To resolve this issue, perform the following:
1. Open a new tab or a new browser window.
2. Type the address of the IO self-service portal,
https://[your-CMS-name-or-IP]:51443.
3. When your browser displays the error message, perform the following, depending
on your browser:
a. Chrome: Click Proceed anyway
b. Internet Explorer: Click Continue to this website (not recommended)
c. Firefox:
1) Click I Understand the Risks.
2) Click Add Exception….
3) Click Permanently store this exception.
4) Click Confirm Security Exception.
4. Return to the SIM tab and refresh the screen, or open a new tab and go to the SIM
URL and launch the infrastructure orchestration.
Sample ESA server files are changed after upgrade
If you are using Operations Orchestration workflow servers, it is necessary to manually
edit server information files for successful use (the sample data included will not work
correctly). If you upgrade from a previous release of Matrix OE to Matrix OE 7.2 or
later, the sample HP Extensible Server Adapter server files in <Matrix
infrastructure orchestration install dir>\esa_extensions\server
have been changed to comment out part of the XML file (the sample data). This avoids
confusion when you enable ESA by specifying the ESA password in the
esa.properties configuration file and the file contents are used to invoke OO
workflows for server management, it does not remove the contents of the ESA server
files (just comments out the sample data). If you have modified the ESA server files to
contain valid data, the files are not changed.
Suggested action
Note the changes to the server files after an upgrade.
