Access error on Insight Orchestration web pages from e-mail notification using private
network
In some cases, the administrator cannot access the approve/reject web page (and other HP Insight
Orchestration pages) from the notification e-mail that asks the administrator to continue or reject
a user request. An access page error appears instead of the expected Insight Orchestration request
web page.
This error occurs when the HP Insight Orchestration CMS is configured to use a private network,
and the private network communicates with a public network. The private network is only
accessible from the HP Insight Orchestration CMS, and it is used to provision virtual and physical
infrastructures. Insight Orchestration notification e-mail is set with the private network settings
which does not allow external access to the URLs contained in the notification e-mail.
Suggested action To allow access to Insight Orchestration web pages in e-mail from the private
or public network:
1. Open HP Operations Orchestration Studio and log in using valid credentials.
2. Expand the Configuration node.
3. Expand the System Properties node.
4. Double click the HpioCmsIp property.
5. Click the Lock button to check out the property.
6. Update the property value to the hostname of the CMS.
7. Click Save and Check in.

Suggested action Upgrade to the latest Adobe Flash Player, available at http://get.adobe.com/
flashplayer. Then restart the browser, and browse to Systems Insight Manager and the Insight
Orchestration console.
ioexec virtual machine provisioning fails during service creation when host name and

can occur if the server host name exceeds 13 characters, or the service name exceeds 16 characters.
Deleted Insight Orchestration service remains "In Progress" in Services page
If an HP Insight Orchestration service is deleted, it may not be removed from the Services page
as expected. The service may remain on the Services page with an “In Progress” status.
Suggested action This issue will be resolved in a future update release.
Insight Orchestration create request makes 0% progress after several minutes
A Delete request and a Create request in Insight Orchestration simultaneously attempt to access
the same subnet resource. The create request fails to progress and the service remains at a status
of “New.” The request detail entry states:
A fatal database error occurred while Insight Orchestration
attempted to operate over the following object type:
AllocationEntry, and the create request has failed.
