C Removing ID-VSE for Integrity

Use Procedure C-1 to completely remove ID-VSE for Integrity from an HP-UX CMS.

Procedure C-1 Remove ID-VSE for Integrity

1. Make sure that HP SIM is running.

2. Use gWLM to undeploy all deployed SRDs.

3. Delete all monitored workloads.

4. Stop the gWLM agent daemon, if it is running on the CMS, by executing the following

command:

# /opt/gwlm/bin/gwlmagent --stop

5. Remove the existing ID-VSE for Integrity configuration and database by executing the

following command:

# /opt/vse/bin/vseinitconfig -r -F

6. Remove ID-VSE for Integrity by executing the following command:

# /usr/sbin/swremove VSEMgmt T2743AA gWLM-Agent \

vseAssist AppDiscServer AppDiscCMS AppDiscAgent PRMSIMTools

7. Remove log files and other application files by executing the following commands:

# rm -rf /opt/vse /etc/opt/vse /var/opt/vse

# rm -rf /opt/gwlm /etc/opt/gwlm /var/opt/gwlm

# rm -rf /opt/amgr /etc/opt/amgr /var/opt/amgr

# rm -rf /opt/hpwebadmin/webapps/vse.war
