Preparing the Central Management Server (CMS)
You can install Insight Management on the CMS server. This server acts as the primary management
console for system management and monitoring tasks.
You can install a different primary management console, depending on your needs:
• HP Insight Control for Microsoft System Center: This configuration uses extensions you install
on the Microsoft System Center consoles. You can download the extensions, installation
instructions, support matrix, and other documentation at http://www.hp.com/go/
insightupdates.
• HP Insight Control for VMware Vcenter Server: This configuration uses extensions you install
on the VMware vCenter server console. You can download the extensions, installation
instructions, support matrix, and other documentation at http://www.hp.com/go/
insightupdates.
