HP Storage Provisioning Manager (SPM) version 2.3 User Guide

All Of requirement
The All Of requirement is a Requirements Group that contains other requirements. It specifies
that all of the requirements contained within it must be satisfied in order for the All Of requirement
to be satisfied.
NOTE: Top-level service requirements are implicitly contained in an All Of requirement group.
Any Of requirement
The Any Of requirement is a Requirements Group that contains other requirements. It specifies
that at least one of the requirements within the group must be satisfied in order for the requirement
to be satisfied. The sub-requirements allowed in an Any Of requirements group are the requirements
allowed in the enclosing requirements group in which the Any Of requirement is placed.
Connected To Fibre Channel Endpoint requirement
The Connected To Fibre Channel Endpoint requirement requires that matching services
be accessible via the network that contains the given WWN. The service need not have an interface
exposed on the network, but must allow an interface to the network sometime in the future. Use
Host requirements to create an interface to the service on the network.
Connected To Network requirement
The Connected To Network requirement requires that matching services be accessible via the
specified network. The service need not have an interface exposed on the network, but it must be
able to have an interface on the network if desired. Use Host requirements to create an interface
to the service on the network.
Fibre Channel Initiator Endpoint requirement
Fibre Channel Initiator Endpoint is a Requirements Group that contains requirements
describing a single Fibre Channel initiator endpoint of a host that will access the storage service.
The Fibre Channel Initiator Endpoint subrequirements are described below:
Fibre Channel Endpoint WWN—Interface WWN
Fibre Channel Network—Network to which the initiator WWN is or will be connected.
Fibre Channel Proxy Endpoint WWN—SAN on which proxy WWN exists is the SAN
to which the interface WWN is connected.
The Fibre Channel Initiator Endpoint requirement group must contain a Fibre
Channel Endpoint WWN requirement and may contain either a Fibre Channel Network
requirement or a Fibre Channel Proxy Endpoint WWN requirement to complete the endpoint
specification. If neither of these is specified, SPM will attempt to detect the network containing the
specified Endpoint WWN.
Fibre Channel Target Endpoint requirement
Fibre Channel Target Endpoint is a Requirements Group that contains the requirements
describing a single Fibre Channel target endpoint. The Fibre Channel Target Endpoint
members are described below:
Fibre Channel Endpoint WWN—Interface WWN
Fibre Channel Network—The network to which the target WWN is connected
Fibre Channel Proxy Endpoint WWN—The SAN on which the proxy WWN exists is
the Network to which the interface WWN is connected
The Fibre Channel Target Endpoint requirement group must contain a Fibre Channel
Endpoint WWN requirement and optionally can contain one of the other two requirements to
