to 6.3. Upgrade to the latest version using the latest HP Insight Management DVD.
Upgrading Systems Insight Manager
Earlier versions of Systems Insight Manager require you to upgrade to another version of Systems
Insight Manager before upgrading to the latest version. Table 3 (page 10) lists the versions that
are required to upgrade an older version of HP SIM to the latest version of HP Insight Management
DVD.

Upgrading Matrix recovery management
If the Matrix recovery management is installed on the CMS, first upgrade the local site and perform
all the required upgrade tasks and optional post-installation tasks. See the Installing or upgrading
HP Insight Management for upgrade tasks.
For post-installation tasks, see the Optional post-installation configuration chapter. Both local and
remote sites must be upgraded.
NOTE: The local site is not protected until both the sites are upgraded.
