HP Integrity Virtual Server Manager 6.3 Release Notes

The menus to manage VMs or vPars are disabled in the following cases:
If Integrity VM version 4.3PK2 or earlier is installed, you can manage VMs, but vPars are not
supported.
If HP vPars 6.0 is installed, you can manage vPars; however, the menu items applicable to
VMs are disabled.
If HP-UX vPars and Integrity VM 6.1 is installed, you can manage VMs or vPars. The menu
items are enabled based on the selected guest.
If HP-UX vPars and Integrity VM 6.2 is installed, you can manage both VMs and vPars. The
menu items are enabled based on the selected guest.
Known problems fixed in this version

Known problems, limitations, and workarounds

If workarounds are available, they are included.
Enable dynamic control value is incorrect
In Integrity Virtual Server Manager on Matrix OE 7.1, in the General Preview table of the
Modify Memory page, the Enable dynamic control value displayed is incorrect.

Corrective Action: None
NPIV device is not displayed
On a host that has NPIV storage device, if you try to add an NPIV device to a VM or a vPar,
the device list in the Add or Modify Storage Device page does not display the NPIV device.
This problem exists only in Matrix OE 7.1 and not in SMH 6.1.
Severity: Medium
Corrective Action: Use the command line to add NPIV storage device to the VM or vPar.
No access to virtual / remote console from Integrity Virtual Server Manager
On Integrity Virtual Server Manager 4.3 and 6.1, iLO Virtual Console or Remote iLO Virtual
console cannot be opened from some hosts.
