Online Migration between Itanium 9300 and Itanium 9500
This section guides you to modify online migration between Itanium 9300 and Itanium 9500 based
systems for the selected VM.
Modify Online Migration between Itanium 9300 and Itanium 9500
To modify a virtual machine’s Migration between Itanium 9300 and Itanium 9500 attribute:
1. From the VSP General tab, select VSP Virtual Servers tab and select the VM to modify.
Alternatively, navigate to the VM Properties tab. The VM which has to be modified is selected
implicitly.
2. From the Modify menu, select Online Migration between Itanium 9300 and Itanium 9500.
Modify Online Migration between Itanium 9300 and Itanium 9500 for VM screen is displayed as
shown in Figure 63.

Screen properties are as follows:
• VM name: Indicates the VM name that is selected to be modified.
• Current Status: Indicates the current status of the migration attribute.
• Enable Online Migration between Itanium 9300 and Itanium 9500 check box: Enables or
disables the online migration between Itanium 9300 and Itanium 9500 based systems.
• Real Command: Integrity VM uses this command to modify the migration attribute.
To enable online migration between Itanium 9300 and Itanium 9500 for the VM:
1. Select Enable Online Migration between Itanium 9300 and Itanium 9500 check box.
If you do not wish to enable online migration between Itanium 9300 and Itanium 9500 based
systems for the VM, do not select Enable Online Migration between Itanium 9300 and Itanium
9500 check box.
2. Click OK after making modifications.
You navigate to the page where the modify menu was selected.
