Issue
Matrix infrastructure orchestration Add Disk request for an ESX virtual server does not complete
successfully when resumed after CMS is recovered from a crash.
Possible causes
A CMS crash occurred while Virtual Center is in the process of creating a Virtual disk, causing an
incomplete disk creation.
Suggested actions
• Remove the partially created virtual disk file from the Virtual Center.
• Perform a logical server refresh. Tools→ Logical Servers→Refresh.
• Re-issue the Add Disk request.
Insight Control server deployment software is not listed in infrastructure orchestration
Issue
Insight Control server deployment software is not listed in the Software tab in infrastructure
orchestration.
Possible causes
• Insight Control server deployment is not configured in HP SIM
• Connection problems
• Proxy issues in the IE browser
Suggested actions
• Ping the Insight Control server deployment server to check if is reachable
• Execute the command mxnodesecurity -l and check if the Insight Control server
deployment IP is listed with the protocol dsc_rdp. If it is not listed, manually add using this
command: "mxnodesecurity -a -p dsc_rdp -c <username>:<password> -t
on -n <node_IP or node_name>”.
• Add the IP/Range in the exclusion list in IE if a proxy is configured.
