3. Add and configure the Application Server role:
a. In the left pane of Server Manager, click Features, and then in the right pane click Add
Features.
b. Depending on your OS, do one of the following:

Windows 2008 R2
and R2 SP1
1. Expand .NET Framework 3.5.1 Features
2. Select only .NET Framework 3.5.1.
Windows 2008 SP2
1. Expand .NET Framework 3.0 Features
2. Select only .NET Framework 3.0.
NOTE: For Windows versions prior to Windows Server 2008 R2, download and install
.NET Framework 3.5 SP1 from the Microsoft website or install .NET Framework using
Windows Update.
c. Scroll down and select SNMP Services if it has not already been selected.
d. Click Next, and then click Install.
For Windows 2012:
1. Browse to Server Manager (Start Menu→Server Manager)
