HP Insight Control for Microsoft System Center
If you have chosen Microsoft System Center as your primary console rather than Systems Insight
Manager, you can install HP Insight Control for Microsoft System Center which adds several
extensions to make the HP ProLiant management information available through the System Center
consoles and also adds monitoring, alerting, proactive virtual machine management, and HP
ProLiant OS deployment and update capabilities to the System Center consoles.
Insight Control for Microsoft System Center enables you to optimize deployment, virtualization,
and configuration of your HP servers being managed by Microsoft System Center from almost
anywhere. Insight Control for Microsoft System Center delivers Operating System Deployment
(OSD) capability, Performance and Resource Optimization (PRO), enhanced inventory, the HP
Server Updates Catalog, and HP ProLiant and BladeSystem management packs for System Center
Operations Manager.
Insight Control for Microsoft System Center is ideal for enterprise data centers that depend on an
HP ProLiant and BladeSystem infrastructure managed by Microsoft System Center because it:
• Brings the native manageability of HP hardware to System Center environments with deep
insight into HP ProLiant and BladeSystem hardware
• Prevents problems from occurring by proactively monitoring and managing the health of HP
ProLiant servers and BladeSystem enclosures and intelligently responding to hardware events
