A list of available security groups appears in the content pane.
2. In the content pane, select the security group by clicking in the row anywhere to the right of
the security group name.
3. Click Security Group Actions then select the Delete Security Group option.
The Delete Security Group verification dialog box appears.
4. Click Delete Security Group in the verification box.
Resynchronizing resources
NOTE:
Changes made to a device may not be immediately visible in SPM. SPM automatically updates
resource details over a time interval or upon resync. The menu items that cause resources to
resynchronize are available to users with the proper access rights. If changes are made to a
resource outside SPM, the resource must be resynchronized in order for those changes to be
noticed by SPM.
Resynchronizing an array does not resynchronize the associated storage pools and volumes.
Resynchronizing a storage pool does not resynchronize the associated volumes.
A user with the proper access rights can resynchronize all instances of a specific resource (arrays,
storage pools, volumes, networks) by clicking the appropriate action button in the resource
information area then selecting the Resync option from the menu displayed. For example, to resync
all arrays:
1. In the Navigation tree, select Arrays.
The list of arrays appears in the content pane.
2. Click Array Actions then select the Resync All Arrays option.
The Resync All Arrays confirmation window appears.
3. Click Resync All Arrays.
The arrays are resynchronized and list of available arrays is displayed.
NOTE:
This procedure resynchronizes all resources of the appropriate type when no items are
selected. If any items are selected, the action resynchronizes only the selected items.
A single array can be resynchronized by right-clicking on it and selecting the resynchronize
menu option.
