2. Run the following command to install Continentalclusters SNMP RPM. This RPM is required by
Continentalclusters for sending SNMP notifications.
For Red Hat:
# rpm –i
serviceguard-continentalclusters-snmpd-B.12.00.00.rhel5.x86_64.rpm
(RHEL 5.x only)
# rpm –i
serviceguard-continentalclusters-snmpd-B.12.00.00.rhel6.x86_64.rpm
(RHEL 6.x only)
For SLES:
# rpm –i
serviceguard-continentalclusters-snmpd-B.12.00.00.sles11.x86_64.rpm
The software resides in the following directories:
For Red Hat:
/opt/cmconcl
/usr/share/snmp/mibs/
/usr/local/cmcluster/doc
/etc/init.d/
For SLES:
/opt/cmconcl
/usr/share/snmp/mibs/
/opt/cmcluster/doc
/etc/init.d/
3. For using physical data replication with the P9000/XP series, EVA series or 3PAR Remote
Copy, purchase Metrocluster with Continuous Access XP P9000 for Linux, Metrocluster with
Continuous Access EVA P6000 for Linux, or Metrocluster with 3PAR Remote Copy for Linux,
and install it on all the nodes.
When using physical data replication with the P9000/XP series, install the HP Storage Disk
Array P9000/XP Raid Manager software on all the nodes. When using physical data
replication with the EVA series, install HP Storage Continuous Access EVA related software
on all the nodes.
When using physical data replication with HP 3PAR disk arrays, install the supported version
of HP 3PAR InForm OS CLI on all the nodes.
