Enhancements

Support is provided for the following:

• VSS

• Business Copy of Continuous Access Volume

• Hyper-V Host and Guest O/S (Guest O/S - snapshot creation only)

• VMware VM (Shadow Copy creation only)

• VDS

• Hyper-V Host and Guest O/S. The unmask/present operation of a LUN to the local host is not

supported on a Hyper-V guest OS.

• VMware VM. The unmask/present operation of a LUN to the local host is not supported on a

VMware VM.

Fixes

Fixes an issue that causes the hardware provider to create a fully allocated snapshot when the requestor

application sets the DIFFERENTIAL option and the VSS configuration utility Snap type is set to Demand

Allocated Snapshot.
