Enhancements and fixes
The following enhancements and fixes were incorporated in M113R11:
• Reduced I/O disruption during rescans after drives are hot-plugged.
• Modified the spare drive policy to look for spares in the same enclosure as the failed drive before
searching for spares elsewhere in the system.
• Improved drive error handling.
• Improved the notifications for newer drive models.
• Service protocols are now password protected.
• Improved support for 2TB and larger drives.
• Improved RAID10 performance.
• Improved error reporting for super capacitor events. A failure event is now generated after 10
retries.
• Improved I/O performance during a drive rebuild.
• Enhanced time zone options for -4.30, +3.30, and +13:00.
