2. Check the cmserver log for Start Task and End Task messages. Typically it is located at
/opt/tandem/genus/gel/log on the Linux system. These messages are logged at the
start time and end time of the load task and contain the process ID (PID) of the gelserver
process and other information.
This is an example of the cmserver log:

Stopping a Data-Load Task
To abruptly stop a data-load task while it is running, enter a gcmd command on the Linux
platform with requestType STOP_TASK:
gcmd -rt STOP_TASK argument-list
For example:
gcmd -rt STOP_TASK -tk MYTASK16 -un user1 -pw User9999
For descriptions of each command argument, see Arguments for Stopping a Task ” (page 114).
The servers on the Neoview platform may take some time to stop depending on the activity at
the time that the STOP command was issued. In some cases, the servers might not detect the
