Neoview ODBC Drivers Manual (R2.5)

Indicates that an error occurred during password processing or certificate management
operations. The following table lists possible errors and what you can do about them.
Description and RecoveryError Code and Text
These messages signify internal errors. Please report them to HP
Support.
[4400] Internal error
[4401] No privileged segment
[4405] No shared segment in security server
[4410] Digest mismatch
[4417] Error in shared segment
This message means that the NDCS server is running from the
incorrect program file on the Neoview platform. Contact HP
Support for assistance in ensuring that the NDCS server (sometimes
also called MXOSRVR) program file is in the expected location.
[4402] Program file not authorized
This message could mean that the NDCS server is not in the correct
location, but other problems can also cause registration to fail.
Check for other messages generated at about the same time. Contact
HP Support for additional assistance.
[4404] Registration with security server failed
This message means that the security servers on the platform are
not currently running, possibly because they were not started as
expected. Contact HP Support for assistance.
[4403] Security server not running
This message means that more than 127 NDCS server processes
are running in one processing node. If you have operator privileges,
you can use HPDM to balance the load across processing nodes.
[4406] Too many requestors to security server
These messages refer to errors in the password encryption policy
file described in the Neoview User Management and Security
Administration Guide. If the file does not exist (4407) and you have
the ROLE.SECMGR role, use the alter policy command to set the
policy explicitly; the command will create the policy file if it does
not yet exist. Otherwise, contact HP Support for assistance.
[4407] Security policy file not found
[4408] Error in security policy file
[4409] Bad security policy
These errors indicate problems with the certificate file on the
Neoview platform.
If an error of this type occurs repeatedly, you might need to
generate a new self-signed certificate or deploy a new CA
certificate, as described in the Neoview User Management and Security
Administration Guide.
[4411] Decryption error
[4412] SECKEYS key file not found
[4413] SECKEYS key file error
[4414] Certificate expired
[4415] Certificate not found
This error signifies that a new certificate has been installed on the
server but that the workstation still has an old certificate. Deploy
a new certificate to the workstation, in the location specified by
the applicable JDBC or ODBC connection attribute.
This error can occur only if autodownload is off and the new
certificate has not been deployed on the workstation. Otherwise,
the new certificate would be copied to the active certificate location,
and no error would be presented.
[4416] Certificate has been updated
SQLSTATE:HY000
SQLCODE: 0
Password encryption is required. Please check client version.
Indicates that the Neoview platform requires password encryption, but the login request came
from an ODBC driver that does not encrypt passwords. Install a newer version of the ODBC
driver no older than version 2.5.
