5 Deploying ProLiant firmware and software updates

The ProLiant Updates Catalog provides the latest firmware and software from the SPP. The catalog

can be used with SCUP and the SCCM Software Updates functionality to keep ProLiant servers up

to date. For more details, see HP ProLiant Updates Catalog User Guide.

IMPORTANT: Applying the catalog updates to newly deployed servers ensures that the iLO drivers

get completely installed, additional drivers and utilities get installed, and existing drivers get

updated.
