Considerations
• Do not install HP Insight Control server deployment and SCVMM on the same network because
they both contain PXE servers.
Installation
1. Ensure that the following prerequisites are met:
• This is a SCVMM management server with the console installed.
• The logged in user has administrator level privileges.
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 is installed.
• All local SCVMM consoles are closed.
• If this is a SCVMM high availability configuration, then this must be the primary node.
2. On the SCVMM management server, start the installation from the HP Insight Control for
Microsoft System Center image by executing autorun.exe. Click Install, and then click HP
SCVMM 2012 Integration Kit.
3. On the License Agreement screen, click Agree.
4. On the Verify Prerequisites screen, click Verify.
If the verification fails, make the necessary corrections and click Verify again.
