HP OneView 1.01 Release Notes

4 Known limitations
The following are known limitations for using HP OneView.
REST API filter and query request attributes are experimental. The server profile REST API
can be filtered by profile name.
For best results, use the search index under index/resources to locate specific resources.
HP ProLiant BL465c G7 and BL485c G7 server blades with NC551i LOM, NC551m, or
NC550m adapters do not support the requested bandwidth feature for server profile
connections. Connections for these systems will rate-limit at the maximum bandwidth specified
in the associated network or network set.
After a firmware update, the server ROM (BIOS) version for a server is not reported until the
next time the server is powered on and allowed to complete POST (power on self-test).
A discrepancy can exist between what HP OneView reports as the Allocated Bandwidth on
the server profile and what the server OS detects as the link speed for the network interface
corresponding to the connection. HP OneView enables you to take advantage of the unused
bandwidth when the Allocated Bandwidth for a profile connection is set lower than the
maximum bandwidth defined on the network or network set assigned to that connection. The
server OS detects the maximum bandwidth, while the Server Profile screen displays the
allocated bandwidth.
A discrepancy can exist between what HP OneView displays as the Allocated Bandwidth on
the server profile and the Bandwidth (min/max) values that are displayed on the Downlink
Ports section of the Interconnects screen. The Bandwidth (min/max) values indicate the
configured settings on the network or network set instead of reflecting the Allocated Bandwidth
that was assigned in the server profile.
