1.2 Firmware requirements
This section describes the firmware requirements for devices you plan to manage with HP OneView.
• To add a device to the appliance, the device must meet the minimum firmware requirements
described in section “Minimum firmware requirements” (page 7).
• To actively manage a device that you have added to the appliance, the device must meet the
firmware management baselines.
1.2.1 HP Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP)
This version of HP OneView contains SPP version 2014.06.0, which contains the latest firmware
versions for your HP hardware.
