2.6 Networking LOM and mezzanine cards
If an adapter that is not fully supported exists in a server, the adapter is not actively managed by
the appliance; this state is referred to as unmanaged support. The adapter might still be usable
depending on the model and what it is connected to (for example, an interconnect module). The
appliance reports the existence of the adapter on the Server Hardware screen or on the Server
Hardware Types screen in the appliance UI.
