HP OneView 1.10 Release Notes

3.2 Installation and initial configuration
Microsoft's Hyper-V Manager Networking tab reports a status of: Degraded (Integration
services update required). This is a known issue and expected behavior for
non-Windows virtual machines and this message can be safely ignored. For additional details,
refer to Microsoft's Knowledge Base article 2956569:

3.3 Appliance management
If you rename a backup file, the original default file name is displayed in the UI during a
restore.
Resolution: If you rename backup files, keep track of the original file name in order to verify
the backup file to be restored matches the file that was uploaded. Also, confirm that the
displayed date and time of the backup creation in the UI matches the expected backup creation
date and time.
If your appliance is at version X, and you try to update it to version X, no message is displayed
that the same version of appliance image file is already installed.
Resolution: View the Activity sidebar for the message.
UI displays incorrect language from browser language preference.
Resolution: Configure browser language preferences so that the desired language has the
highest priority, is a supported language, and has an associated country tag.
The restore operation might not complete if the appliance in an unhealthy state; for example,
unable to make forward progress or file system issues. You will need to recreate or restore
your virtual machine before retrying the restore operation.
Resolution: Retry the restore operation on a newly created virtual machine.
3.4 Networking
Do not update Uplink Sets on the Logical Interconnect Groups screen while an Update from
Group action is being performed. This can prevent the logical interconnect from reaching the
Consistent state.
3.5 SAN storage
After disabling one path to a SAN storage volume on a server profile, other paths on that
server profile that connect to the same volume using the same network are also disabled,
although that might not be reflected in the UI or REST APIs.
External references to shared SAN storage volumes are not removed while adding the volume
to a server profile.
HP OneView does not generate alerts for SAN storage provisioned outside of HP OneView.
HP 3PAR StoreServe storage with Converged Network Adapter (CNA) ports configured as
FCoE ports cannot be managed in HP OneView 1.10 and must be managed outside of HP
OneView.
Attempting to attach a SAN volume to a server profile might not succeed if a logical interconnect
references more than 10 uplink sets.
Resolution: Limit the number of uplink sets associated with a logical interconnect to 10.
