HP Management Integration Framework 1.7
Configuration GUI data is lost if an upgrade fails
If an upgrade from HP P6000 Command View 9.3 or 9.4 to HP P6000 Command View 10.0 or
later does not complete successfully, all existing Command View files are removed. This includes
the MIF configuration data which is lost and must be re-created when the upgrade completes.
Clicking the arrow button does not alter the view of the configuration GUI
Some sections in the configuration GUI details page do not expand/collapse when the arrow
button is clicked.
If the General, Discovery, Security, or Tree Integrator sections do not expand or
collapse when you click the arrow button, perform the following:
1. Double-click the title of the browser window to expand the browser window to full screen.
2. Double-click the title of the browser window again to set the browser window back to the
default size.
The sections expand or collapse when the arrow buttons are pressed.

Provisioning storage errors with Windows 2003 SP1
Windows 2003 SP1 has limited functionality for LUN provisioning. If you have issues provisioning
storage from HP P6000 SmartStart in a Fibre Channel configuration, upgrade your Windows
2003 server to SP2.
Alternately, you can provision storage directly from HP P6000 Command View and manually set
the new device as available to Windows.
Japanese virtual disk names
Virtual disk names cannot contain Japanese characters. If they do, errors occur while provisioning
