3. During installation, the following prompt appears:
Do you want to enable host-based authentication for this replication
host agent?
4. Do one of the following:
If you created the host agent group and users before installation (see “Setting credentials
(page 8)), click Enable.
If you did not create the host agent group and users before installation, click Disable.
You will not have the security that the host agent group and users provide.
NOTE: Enabling or disabling host-based authentication is possible only during a first-time
installation. You will be unable to change host-based authentication during subsequent
upgrades.
5. Follow the instructions online to complete the installation.
When the software is installed, the InstallShield Wizard Complete window opens.
6. Click Finish.
TIP: After installing the host agent software, add the host using the HP P6000 Command View
user interface. For more information about adding hosts, see the HP P6000 Command View online
help.
HP OpenVMS
After installing the host agent software on an HP OpenVMS server, run the following commands
to complete the installation:
set def sys$system
$mc authorize
