To add other user names, run the add/identifier HPHAADM command again, and enter the
appropriate user name with the grant/id HPHAADM command.

Verifying the installation
To verify that the host agent software was installed successfully, ensure that:
On Windows hosts, HP P6000 Replication Solutions Manager Host Agent is listed in Add or
Remove Programs.
On UNIX and Linux hosts, HPSWRSMHA is listed when you execute the appropriate command
for your operating system, as shown in the following list:

On an OpenVMS host, enter the following command: product show product rsmha.
If you encounter problems, see “Troubleshooting” (page 21), and then repeat the installation.
Removing the host agent software
Before you remove any software:
Allow all software jobs to run to completion, or stop them before initiating a removal.
If removing software from a host over a network, use remote connection software to access
the host and log in.
CAUTION: To prevent failures from occurring during subsequent install and uninstall
operations, do not delete or change the contents of the uninst folder, as this folder is used
natively by InstallShield. Before performing an uninstall, ensure that there are no open sessions
accessing the uninstall folder.
The following replication manager host agent installation kits do not support reinstallation:

HP-AXPVMS-RSMHA-V0505--1.PCSI (OpenVMS on Alpha servers)
HP-IA64VMS-RSMHA-V0505--1.PCSI (OpenVMS on Integrity servers)
To change any setting or repair a file, you must remove and then reinstall the host agent
software.
