Enhancements

VDS and VSS Hardware Providers 4.05.00 includes the following enhancements:

• VSS Hardware Provider enhanced to perform an additional operation of setting disk array cache

mode to write-through mode before creating demand allocated snapshots

NOTE:

This is an existing feature for the following snap types:

• Fully allocated snapshot

• Mirrorclone

• Snapclone

• Supports HP StorageWorks Command View EVA 9.2

• Supports Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6)

Fixes

Resolved an issue where the creation of shadow copy was delayed due to an increase in the VSS

load time.
