2 Installing Management Pack
This chapter describes how to install the HP Storage Management Pack in your storage environment,
along with other System Software.
System Requirements for Installation
Hardware Requirements: There are no specific hardware requirements for Management Pack. They
will be installed as a plug-in over the System Center. The HP Storage Management Pack can be
installed on the collection points where only OpsMgr agents are deployed and OpsMgr is not installed.
OS Support: The following Operating Systems support Management Pack for HP Storage:
• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard or Enterprise edition (x64 and x32)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Standard or Enterprise edition (x64 and x32)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard or Enterprise edition
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Standard or Enterprise edition

The HP Storage Management Pack supports the following:
• HP Storage Modular Storage Arrays 1000, 1500, 1500i, and P2000
• HP Storage Enterprise Virtual Array 3x00, 4x00, 5x00, 6x00, 8x00, and HP EVA Device Man-

• HP Storage XP 48, 128, 256, 1024, 12000, and 24000 Arrays, and HP XP Device Management
Software
NOTE:
Supports either CV XP or CV XP AE, but not both together.
