HP StorageWorks Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager 2007 Installation and User Guide

1. Ensure the older version is installed.
2. Execute the Setup.exe file of the new version of HP Storage Management Pack for System
Center.
3. In Microsoft Windows, go to Start > Control Panel.
4. Double-click Programs and Features.
5. Find HP Storage Management Pack for System Center, and check the software version.
The new version should be displayed.
NOTE:
For upgrade related known issues, see Chapter 6.
Uninstalling HP Storage Management Pack for System Center
NOTE:
Before uninstalling, HP Storage Management Pack must be removed from OpsMgr 2007.
Complete the following steps to uninstall the HP Storage Management Pack for System Center for
Microsoft Windows Server 2003:
1. In Microsoft Windows, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
3. Find HP Storage Management Pack for System Center, and click Remove to remove the software.
Complete the following steps to uninstall the HP Storage Management Pack for System Center for
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 or later:
1. In Microsoft Windows, go to Start > Control Panel.
2. Double-click Programs and Features.
3. Find HP Storage Management Pack for System Center, and click Uninstall to remove the software.
NOTE:
To remove the HP Storage Management Pack for System Center completely from your system, you
must manually remove the SNMPscriptlog.txt, SNMPDeviceData.txt, and SystemInfo.txt
files from the following location:
• ~:\Program files\HP\HP Enterprise Storage for a 32-bit operating system.
• ~:\Program files(x86)\HP\HP Enterprise Storage for a 64-bit operating system.
