Fixes
HP P6000 Command View management server time does not match Windows time—The times
now match.
Virtual disk presentation failed due to unrelated virtual disk in a non-normal state—A virtual disk
in a non-normal state will no longer prevent HP P6000 Command View from gathering presented
units for presentation.
Yellow event and attention status displayed in GUI for DR group The cause of the attention/failure
is now indicated on the DR group property pages.
SSSU DELETE FOLDER command deletes presented virtual disks—Can no longer delete a virtual
disk family folder directly. You must delete the object(s) in the folder instead.
DR destination has suspended state enabled—No longer incorrectly reports the suspend state on
the DR destination.
Deleting virtual disk in HP P6000 Replication Solutions Manager 5.3 takes more time compared
to HP P6000 Replication Solutions Manager 5.2—Performance improvements make deletion of
virtual disks more efficient.

DR group.

and single quotes no longer cause an error when used in object names.

derived unit is now recreated automatically during an array refresh and displayed in the Command
View GUI.
Virtual disk ACTIVE portion of name missing—ACTIVE portion of virtual disk name now included.
Compatibility and interoperability
EVA3000 and EVA5000 no longer supported
HP P6000 Command View does not support the EVA3000/5000 arrays, nor can they be managed.
This includes management of EVA3000/EVA5000 arrays that are in a Continuous Access configuration.
IPv6 information (array-based management only)
If both IPv4 and IPv6 are installed on a single system, then, by default, HP P6000 Command View
starts on the IPv4 address. To start HP P6000 Command View on a specific address, you must add
the address entry under the webserver section of the cveva.cfg file. For example, to start HP
P6000 Command View on IPv6, enter address 0::0 under the webserver section of cveva.cfg.
IPv6 not supported on Windows 2003 Server
Windows 2003 Server does not provide acceptable operation of HP P6000 Command View in an
IPv6 configuration. Consequently, HP P6000 Command View is not supported in IPv6 configurations
on Windows 2003 Server. IPv4 configurations continue to work reliably and are still supported. If
IPv6 is required, HP recommends installing HP P6000 Command View on Windows 2008 Server.
HP Insight Remote Support support on server-based HP P6000 Command View
HP P6000 Command View server-based version is supported with HP Insight Remote Support Advanced
and Standard 5.7.
