Installing other software

Use HP Photosmart Essential to view and edit photos and image files in Windows. To install this
software, insert the HP Photosmart Pro software CD, click the HP Photosmart Essential button
on the CD browser menu, and select it from the list of software shown (see
HP Photosmart Essential
software).

For the Linux driver, visit
www.linuxprinting.org to download the software. For information about
using Linux with HP printers, visit
hp.sourceforge.net.
NOTE If you are using Windows 2000 or Windows XP, you must have administrator privileges
to install a printer driver.
