Managing the HP Avaya SBC Product
■ show services – displays the services that are being run on the various HP
AllianceONE Services modules installed in the switch. For the HP Avaya
SBC Product, the display would look like the following:
■ show interfaces – used to monitor the status of the two internal ports on
the module, and the network traffic being transmitted and received on
those ports. Typing show interfaces and pressing the Tab key at the switch
CLI prompt displays the available options for this command:
Some examples of this command are shown in the “Management Tasks”
section of this manual, under “Show Interfaces Commands” on page 10.
■ show logging -- displays the switch event log. This is an important diag-
nostic tool to identify specific events during the operation of the HP Avaya
SBC Product.
Module Management Commands
The module command line interface is accessible through the switch CLI.
From the switch CLI enter the command services <slot-ID> <option>.
If you type services <slot-ID> and press the Tab key, the following command
options are displayed:
